We have completed work on a new version of our registration synchronization with HipCricket, which makes it even easier for your audience to register just one time and be signed up for your StickyFish rewards program, your HipCricket mobile alerts, and your TribalDirect email newsletters. This new version streamlines the registration process and fully incorporates the HipCricket storefront into the StickyFish site! If your site has already been synched up with the old version of our HipCricket registration process, you don't have to lift a finger, we will automatically convert you to the new version in the coming weeks. If you have HipCricket, but have not yet synched up your StickyFish and HipCricket services, drop us an email at success@enticent.com and we will activate this new process for you!
Here is how the new process works:
Once a consumer clicks on your registration link and completes your registration form, they are taken to an Email & Alerts page where they can opt-in or opt-out of your email subscriptions and text messaging. After a consumer submits their preferences, they are automatically signed up for any subscriptions and alerts they selected. If they selected to receive text alerts, HipCricket’s system will immediately send a text message to the consumer to confirm their opt-in for text alerts. If the consumer responds ‘ok’ to this confirmation message, they are automatically added to your HipCricket database.
That’s it! It’s that simple. And to make things even easier, the HipCricket storefront has been fully integrated into your StickyFish site. Any time a consumer wants to sign up for specific text alerts or make a change to their text subscriptions, they can click on the Text Messaging link in their My Account menu and be connected directly to the storefront to manage their text options. The storefront is displayed within an iFrame in the StickyFish site to give it a seamless appearance of integration.
