We would like to announce that after a short hiatus, the much anticipated return of the Slots Report has finally happened and it is better than ever. The Slots Report is now at your fingertips in the Admin through the Reports Menu under Reports>>Get Points Results>>Slots Report. The new report is capable in running reports in mere seconds and will provide stats for a variety of measurables such as Slot Machine Spins, Unique Players, Average Time Played (in minutes), and Clicks on the background URL and can even break them down into Male vs. Female demographics.

The Average Time Played is a new feature which is based on the calculation of how long it takes to take one spin on the slot machine. Based on this number (approximately 8 seconds) the system calculates how many minutes each member played for the date range specified for the pulled report. This number can be especially helpful for gaining insight to the time that each member is being exposed to brand impression on a customized (or branded) slot machine.

With the Slots Report available in the admin stats on your slot machine can now be pulled at your convenience and with any variety of date ranges needed.

About our Software Releases

We are constantly hard at work to provide you with the best software in the industry.  Our software releases are divided into two categories – very short small releases that mainly address software fixes but also include small enhancements, and longer bigger releases that include at least one significant upgrade to the platform or new service offering.  Shorter releases will be labeled Minor Release and bigger releases will be labeled Major Release.  If you have questions on any item in a release, please contact us at success@enticent.com.

Over the last 5 months our clients that run listening appointments ( or viewing appointments for our television clients) regularly have generated almost six times as many page views per station as our clients who do not use this feature.  Listen and Wins can also increase TSL through generating appointment listening habits in members.  If you want to get the most out of your StickyFish product, you need to use listen and wins.  Here are some frequently asked questions that might help.

Q: What is a Listen and Win?
A: A Listen and Win is a get points instance set up in the StickyFish admin.  It allows a member to input something that they heard on air to gain points.  A common example is that the station announces a code word on air every weekday morning at 8am.  The listener then goes to the website sometime in the next 24 hours and inputs that codeword into an answer box.  If they input the correct answer they get points.

Q: What are other examples of Listen and Wins?
A: Listen and Wins will work with just about any benchmark already being run on air.  The answer might be an artist name (IE Artist of the Day), a song name (name of the third song played after 3pm), a listener’s name (the name of the winner of the afternoon giveaway), a celebrity (today’s celebrity birthday) or any other routine benchmark.

Q: How long does it take to set up and maintain a listen and win?
A: Typically listen and wins take about 5 to 10 minutes to set up initially and only take 5 minutes per week to maintain once set up.

Q: I am concerned about on air clutter.  Will these listen and wins clutter up my station?
A: In order for Listen and Wins to be successful they must be mentioned on air.  However, you don’t need to describe the platform, or how to enter to win.  That is all done on the website.  All you need to mention on air is the website and the chance to win great prizes.  Here is an example: “Today’s codeword is “Braves”.  Go to the rewards section of atlantarocks.com and enter “Braves” to get a chance at winning thousands in great prizes.”

Q: How many Listen and Wins should I use?
A: Our minimum recommendation 3 per weekday, however one per day part is ideal.  This encourages listeners who just listen to one day part to tune in for the others.  It also rewards members who listen at different day parts and not just those who tune in for the morning show.

Q: How do I set these up in the StickyFish admin?
A: Here is a short training film that will walk you through the process, step by step.  http://admin.listenernetwork.com/prc/best-practices/videos/listen-win.htm

Q: My question was not answered here.  Where can I go for more information?
A: You can send an email to success@enticent.com with any other questions regarding Listen and Wins.
