Minor Release Notes – 8/21/09

A new version of our software was released on the 21st.  This release contains both fixes and minor enhancements.  Here's what's been updated in this release…

Fixed: Tracking links in Hotmail – Tracking links were not rendering properly when viewed through the Hotmail email client.  Changes were made so that these links now work for Hotmail.

Fixed: Additional info required in contests – In some cases the settings for additional info required for a contest were not being saved.  This meant the process for entering the contest would not behave as expected.  The cause of this issue was identified and corrected.

Fixed: Custom registration fields – Custom date and number fields that were marked as not required were being required for members when updating their profile.  This has been fixed.

Fixed: Music test report sorting – Some columns in the music test report were not sorting properly.  This has been corrected.

Fixed: Help documentation – The member help page for email deliverability was out of date and some links were broken.  This content of this page has been updated along with the links.

Fixed: Music Test setup – When trying to create a very large music test (greater than 100 songs for instance) admin users would suffer browser crashes.  This was due to a design flaw in how the page provided the preview song option that caused it to consume a lot of memory.  This aspect of the page was redesigned to completely eliminate this issue no matter how many songs are used.

Fixed: Video upload in contests – Members were having issues uploading videos for entry into contests due to an incorrect setting on the file size limit.  This has been corrected.

Fixed: Fanclub page view tracking – The landing page of the Fanclub product was not properly tracking page views.  This issue has been fixed.

About our Software Releases

We are constantly hard at work to provide you with the best software in the industry.  Our software releases are divided into two categories – very short small releases that mainly address software fixes but also include small enhancements, and longer bigger releases that include at least one significant upgrade to the platform or new service offering.  Shorter releases will be labeled Minor Release and bigger releases will be labeled Major Release.  If you have questions on any item in a release, please contact us at success@tritonloyalty.com.
