A new contest has been added to all stations participating in a Prize closet. A featured, custom contest for the Grammy Awards.
The elements include:
1) Contest to enter to win all five CDs nominated for Grammy Album of The Year. They receive the CD by Beyonce, Dave Matthews Band, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
2) They can also participate in an interactive "Pick the Winners" survey. Members are asked to select who they think will win the key categories.
A few ideas on how you can take advantage of these tools:
* Simply promote the contest and prizes available.
* When playing any of the artists, or talking about the Grammy Awards, invite listeners to pick the winners. (Be sure to provide a link from the main page o your site directly to the survey).
* In your email newsletter, show the current results of the survey (just a couple of headlines) with the invitation to click now and respond…you can find your current results in Admin-Reports-Get POints-Surveys. In that same text, provide a link to the custom contest to win the five CDs.
