Minor Release Notes – 2/12/10
A new version of our software was released on the 12th. This release contains both fixes and minor enhancements. Here’s what’s been updated in this release…
Enhancement: Prize quantity verification – During the setup of a contest we have added a verification step that will prevent anyone from accidentally specifying an incorrect number of prizes to be given away. When the system detects a prize quantity greater than 1 a prompt will come up asking if you are sure of the quantity before going to the next step.
Enhancement: Postal/zip code filtering – When filtering a list in Tribal Direct by a large number of postal/zip codes the system would take a very long time to the point of timing out in some cases. We have optimized the database processes so that it now takes an average of just 6 seconds.
Enhancement: Site template – The iframed portion of the site template was modified to allow for transparency. This allows for improved styling.
Fixed: RSS feed – Some links in the RSS feed for prizes were broken. This issue has been resolved.
Fixed: Instant win admin – When setting up an instant win the screen would load very slowly unless your mouse pointer was focused on the area of the screen where it loads. The cause of this issue was identified and fixed.
