Release Notes – 1/18/11
A new version of our software was released on the 18th. This release contains both fixes and enhancements. Here’s what’s been updated in this release…
Enhancement: Contest API – We added an API method ‘LoadActiveContests’. This can be called for a specific site and will return the name, unique ID, points for entry (if applicable), start date, end date, and direct URL for all active contests on that site.
Enhancement: Email registration widget – You can now create a signup form for email and newsletters that can be deployed on your website. The code for the widget can be generated in the Stickyfish and Fanclub admin console and allows you to specify any subscription that you want users to sign up for. The link to this new functionality is found under the ‘Mass Email’ menu.
Fixed: Featured contest carousel – Fixed issue that the links in the featured contest carousel on Stickyfish and Fanclub sites were displaying below the images instead of above.
Fixed: Scratch and Win menu – Removed unnecessary scroll bars from the menu in the Scratch and Win game.
Fixed: Style issue in Chrome – Fixed issue that caused certain Stickyfish and Fanclub pages to appear with incorrect styling in Chrome.
Fixed: Music test participants download – Fixed issue that caused a server error when trying to download the participants for a music test.
Fixed: Menu – Fixed issue that if changes were made to the drop down menu the older version would sometimes display.
Fixed: Surveys – Fixed issue that surveys over a certain length appeared truncated.
Fixed: Success page – Fixed issue that the page that displays after a user successfully completes any instance (survey, trivia, etc.) was not displaying properly in Chrome.
Fixed: Contest list page – Fixed intermittent issue that the current contest list page would not display in Chrome.
Fixed: Survey editor – Fixed issue that prevented admin users from editing a survey with multiple questions when using IE9.
Fixed: Email preferences page – Fixed issue that the email preferences page that is accessible through the admin member lookup tool was not loading.
About our Software Releases
We are constantly hard at work to provide you with the best software in the industry. Our software releases are divided into two categories – very short small releases that mainly address software fixes but also include small enhancements, and longer bigger releases that include at least one significant upgrade to the platform or new service offering. Shorter releases will be labeled Minor Release and bigger releases will be labeled Major Release. If you have questions on any item in a release, please contact us at help@tritonloyalty.com.
